Think you are creative?  Put your imagination to the test and help a great cause at the same time.  By donating a decorated tree to the Forest of Hope, you can show off your skills  while aiding the Richmond County Rescue Mission in its efforts to serve the homeless in our community.  All trees will be sold via silent auction and all proceeds will go to the rescue mission.

There is no fee to enter a fully decorated tree or wreath!

Event guests will vote on their favorite trees with awards given in the following categories...
  • Most Beautiful
  • Most Creative
  • Overall Favorite

Be Creative!!!  Along with traditional Christmas themes, trees can be themed after sports teams, movies, children's books, Disney characters, power tools, cosmetics, the list goes on...

Just Remember!!!  It needs to sell at the auction.  Be whimsical, but do not create something that nobody will want.  Also remember, it is a family event.  Use good judgement.  We do reserve the right to deny any entries that could be offensive.

Trees must be pre-lit and must be 4.5 – 12 feet tall
Wreaths must be 24” or larger
Table top trees must be 36”
 
Don't feel like you can decorate a tree yourself?  You can still be a part of the festivities by sponsoring a tree.   There are four tree sponsor levels listed below.  

4.5 foot tree $350
5 foot tree $400
6.5 foot tree $450
7.5 foot tree $550

**The NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS event will take place from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, November 15. The Place of Grace campus will welcome sponsors and contributors to the Forest of Hope one day early for a whimsical night of special music, food, and fun. Our special guests will even get an early look at the tree displays and will have the first opportunity to make a bid!
